Hyderabad, June 20: Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Thursday asked the Congress leaders to gear up the cadre at the grass root levels for the ensuing Panchayat Raj elections.
The Chief Minister, along with PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana, held a meeting with the ministers, MLAs and prominent leaders of Prakasam, Kadapa, Kurnool, East and West Godavari and Guntur districts at his camp office at Begumpet. He asked the leaders to effectively take the government’s welfare schemes to the door steps of the people.
Describing the Panchayat Polls as a rehearsal for next Assembly elections, Kiran Kumar Reddy asked the leaders to activate the cadre at the village, ward an booth level and enlighten the voters about the steps being taken by the government for the welfare of different sections of the society.
