Speaker disallows adjournment motions

Hyderabad, June, 18 : Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Tuesday rejected the adjournment motions noticed given by the opposition parties.

As soon as the House met at 9 AM, the TDP members gave an adjournment motion notice on Fuel Surcharge Adjustment on power consumers. While the CPI-M wanted the House to discuss the problems being faced by physically challenged persons, the CPI gave an adjournment motion notice on welfare of construction workers.
