Arunachalam assumes charge as CBI JD

Hyderabad, June 15 : Senior official S Arunachalam, on Saturday took charge as the additional in-charge Joint Director of Central Bureau of Investigation of the AP zone.

Arunachalam, a 1993 batch officer, would continue on the post till the government appoints another official on permanent basis. He was serving as the CBI Joint Director in Chennai when he was given the additional charge of AP Zone.

Arunachalam has been appointed to replace V V Lakshminarayana, who was transferred and repatriated to his home cadre in Maharashtra. INN
