Hyderabad, June 14: The State Legislative Assembly was adjourned for half-an-hour for the second time on Friday following the continuation of protest by the opposition parties.
As soon as the House re-assembled at about 10.04 AM, the TRS, TDP, BJP and CPI members rushed to the Speaker’s podium and started raising slogans against the government over the Telangana issue. Speaker Nandendla Manohar tried in vain to convince the agitating members. However, the opposition MLAs continued the slogan shouting.
Meanwhile, the Speaker announced that all questions listed for Question Hour as deemed to have been answered and all papers deemed to have been laid on the table. With no signs of normalcy returning to the House, the Speaker again adjourned the House for half-an-hour at about 10.06 AM.
