Massive traffic restrictions for Chalo Assembly rally

Hyderabad, June 13 : In view of the “Chalo Assembly” rally call given by the Telangana Political Joint Action Committee on Friday, the Hyderabad Traffic Police has imposed several restrictions on the movement of vehicular traffic in the city limits.

According to police, the vehicular traffic coming from Ranigunj side will be diverted at Karbala Maidan towards R.P.Road; the vehicular traffic coming from Bible House / Secunderabad side towards Lower Tank Bund will be diverted at Kavadiguda x roads towards Musheerabad x Roads; the vehicular traffic coming from Bansilalpet / Secunderabad towards Ashok Nagar will be diverted at Praga Tools T Junction towards Musheerabad x Roads; the vehicular traffic coming from Secunderabad / Musheerabad side towards Chikkadpally, Indira Park / Lower Tank bund will be divert towards YMCA / Narayanguda and the vehicular traffic coming from VST towards Indira Park / Lower Tank Bund will be diverted at RTC x Roads towards Musheerabad / Narayanguda side.

Similarly, the vehicular traffic coming from Bagh Lingampally / Chikkadpally towards Himayathnagar will be diverted at Narayanguda x Roads towards Narayanguda L&O P.S. / Koti; the vehicular traffic coming from Narayanguda P.S. towards Old MLA Qtrs will be diverted at YMCA X Roads towards Koti and Barkatpura; the traffic coming towards Kattamaisamma Temple / Lower Tank bund from Kavadiguda will be diverted towards Musheerabad; the traffic coming towards Kattamaisamma Temple / Lower Tank bund from / RTC x Roads will be diverted at Ashoknagar x roads towards Gandhinagar, Bakaram, Pragatools; the traffic coming towards Assembly from Old MLA Qtrs and Liberty will be diverted at Café Bahar Lane towards King Koti; the vehicular traffic coming from Chiragali lane intending to go towards Khan Lateef Khan Building / Basheerbagh will be diverted towards GPO and the vehicular traffic coming from Boguulakunta / King Koti towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Ramkote towards Kachiguda x roads.

Likewise, the vehicular traffic will not be permitted beyond V.V.Statue; the vehicular traffic coming from Red Hills Road (Bazharghat) will not be allowed to proceed towards Nirankari Bhavan and will be diverted towards Masab Tank; the vehicular traffic coming from Anand Nagar Colony and Chintal Basti towards Nirankari Road will not be allowed on to the main road; the vehicular traffic coming from MJ Market / Exhibition Road will be diverted at Taj Island towards Ek-Minar Masjid / Mallepally; the vehicular traffic coming from M.J.Market, GPO intending to go towards and beyond will be diverted at Yousufian Company towards Troop Bazar and Bank Street; the traffic coming from Mehdipatnam towards Ayodhya will be diverted at Masab Tank x roads towards Road No.1, Banjara Hills or Vijaynagar Colony; the traffic coming from Panjagutta / KCP towards Khairtabad / Khairtabad Flyover will be diverted at KCP towards Hotel Taj Krishna; the traffic coming from Road No.1, 10, 7, 4 Banjara Hills via Taj Krishna will not be allowed to take right turn at KCP towards V.V.Statue and they will be diverted towards Panjagutta X Roads and Ameerpet and the traffic coming from Ameerpet towards NIMS / VV Statue will be diverted at Panjagutta x Roads towards NFCL.

The Khairtabad, Narayanguda, Basheerbagh, Telugu Thalli and Masab Tank Flyover bridges will be closed on both ends. All vehicular traffic will not be allowed from 13th June, 2013 night 11.00 p.m. onwards to 14th June, 2013 evening. Further, the pedestrians will also not be allowed to move on flyovers. INN
