Hyderabad, June 12 : Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed all the adjournment motions moved by the opposition parties in the State Legislative Assembly on Wednesday.
As soon as the House met on Wednesday, Etala Rajender (TRS) and E Lakshminarayana (BJP) gave adjournment motion notice seeking Telangana resolution in the House. Similarly, M Narasimhulu (TDP) gave adjournment motion on shortage of fertilizers, Akbaruddin Owaisi on PM’s 15-point programme, G Mallesh (CPI) on Chalo Assembly rally’s permission and J Ranga Reddy (CPI-M) on regularisation of contract employees in the municipal corporation. The YSRCP legislators wanted discussion on Pranahita Chevella Project.
However, the Speaker disallowed all the adjournment motions which led the opposition parties to protest. The TRS, YSRCP and BJP members went near the Speaker’s podium by holding placards and shouted slogans pressing for their demand.
Following uproar, the Speaker adjourned the House for half-an-hour at about 9.10 AM. INN
