Shabbir Ali participates in Ghusl-e-Kaaba

Hyderabad, June 11: Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah region, led a group of fortunate Muslims who performed the holy ceremony of washing of Holy Kaba (Ghusl-e-Kaba) on Monday.

Prince Khaled washed the Holy Kaba on behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah. Senior Congress leader and MLC Mohammad Ali Shabbir was among a few fortunate persons who participated in this holy ceremony.

Others who participated in the ceremony included President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais; his deputy Dr. Mohammed Al-Khuzayyem; Mayor of Makkah Dr Osama Al-Bar; a number of ministers; and ambassadors of several Muslim countries.

The House of Allah is washed from inside twice a year – in Muharram and Shaaban, the first and eighth months of the Hijri calendar.

 Shabbir Ali thanked the Almighty Allah for giving him this opportunity to be among the most fortunes ones to participate in washing of Holy Kaaba.
