Hyderabad, April 25 : The High Court has reserved its judgment and post the Dharmana Prasada Rao prosecution case to April 29.
The CBI contended that Dharmana had misused his official position as Revenue Minister and he has become a hindrance to the investigation process due to his present stature as minister. As his portfolio has changed there need not be any permission to prosecute him, the CBI said adding that his resignation was not accepted by the government.
Though the portfolio has changed, Dharmana still remains a minister, the counsel for the minister has said. After hearing both sides, the court has adjourned the case. INN
