BJP dharna on Byyaram: leaders held

Khammam, April 22 : From Telangana the focus has now shifted totally on Bayyaram mines as all political parties have lapped up the hot topic.

After TDP, CPI and TRS now it is the turn of BJP to take up position.

BJP leaders on Monday picketed the Collector office and raised slogans against the government on the Bayyaraqm issue. After a scuffle, they were arrested by police.

BJP organized a rally demanding a steel plant and protesting against the transfer of any raw material from the region. Led by senior leader Bandaru Dattatreya, the BJP cadre held a dharna at the Collector Office.
