Hyderabad, March 31 : Several places across the State experienced intense heat-wave like conditions on Sunday with temperatures rising above average.
While Kadapa recorded a maximum temperature of 41 degrees Celsius, the mercury touched 40 degrees Celsius in Anantapur, Kurnool and Nandyal. The temperature in Nizamabad, Hanamkonda and Mahabubnagar was 39 degrees followed by 38 degrees in Ramagundam, Tirupathi and Hyderabad; 37 degrees in Arogyavaram, Bhadrachalam, Gannavaram, Nalgonda, Nandigama, Nellore, Tuni and Visakhapatnam; 36 in Hakimpet, Kavali and Ongole; 35 in Kakinada and Narsapur; 34 in Machilipatnam and 33 degrees Celsius in Bapatla and Kalingapatnam.
