Hyderabad, February 12 : The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee has invited applications from eligible Muslim Government Male Employees aged between 25 and 50 years for appointment as Khadim-ul-Hujjaj for the Haj season 2013.
According to SHC Executive Officer Abdul Hameed, the applicants must have performed Haj earlier and should be of sound health and medically fit to travel. The Haj Committee has decided to call applications from the freshers who have not performed the duty as Khadium-ul-Hujjaj earlier. No family members should accompany to perform Haj 2013.
Abdul Hameed further said that only government servants, well acquainted with religious knowledge including Haj rituals and experience of handling functions and public congregations are eligible, subject to approval of Ministry of External Affairs. The period of deputation/absence for Central Government employees shall be treated as on leave.
The individual should submit NOC from the respective department, if selected. Selection is at the discretion of the AP State Haj Committee and it is empowered to accept or cancel any application without specifying any reasons therefore. The candidate should have valid international passport with validity up to March 31, 2014. The region for selection of Khadimul Hujjaj for Haj 2013 will be based on the individual working in the office situation in concerned district, the Executive Officer said.
The application forms and detailed conditions can be obtained from the office of the State Haj Committee in Haj House at Nampally during office hours on all working days and the filled in application forms through proper channel along with supporting documents may be submitted in on or before February 28.
