TDP calls for Karimnagar bandh

Karimnagar, January 10 : The Telugu Desam Party has given Karimnagar bandh call to protest against the arrest of TDP MLAs and sending them to jail on Wednesday.

TDP MLAs E Dayakar Rao, M Venkateswara Rao and others visited the jailed leaders, including MLA Sudala Devaiah on Thursday. Later, talking to reporters, they said that the State Government has been very insensitive on the issue.

Later the TDP leaders held demonstration at the SE’s office. Police arrested Dayakar Rao and others on the grounds that there was no permission and later left them on personal bond. The TDP leaders also demanded a white paper on the power crisis.
