Rambabu is new Congress floor leader in GHMC

Hyderabad, January 7 : Barkatpura corporator Diddi Rambabu on Monday assumed charge as the new floor leader of the Congress party in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

Earlier, Rambabu was nominated as the floor leader by Labour Minister and Greater Hyderabad Congress Committee president Danam Nagender. The nomination was approved by PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana.

It may be mentioned that the position of Congress floor fell vacant after Kaleru Venkatesh quit the Congress to join the YSR Congress party last month.
