New Delhi, Dec 8 : Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Saturday called on Union Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde to discuss various issues pertaining to the State.
In the meeting that lasted for about half-an-hour, the Chief Minister is believed to have discussed the all-party meeting on Telangana issue which is proposed to be held on December 28. However, the Chief Minister has reportedly requested Shinde to either prepone or postpone the meeting as it clashes with the World Telugu Conference being held at Tirupati. He also discussed the modalities for the all-party meeting, sources said.
The Home Minister has reportedly assured Kiran Kumar Reddy that he would consider his request and take a decision in this regard by Monday.
