Talasani hints at shifting of industries from Sanathnagar

Hyderabad, Jan 28 (INN): Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday gave indications that the Telangana Government might shift some industries located in Sanathnagar area.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the Metro Rail works between Begumpet and Ameerpet, Talasani hinted that some industries might be shifted from Sanathnagar. However, he maintained that some world class institutions would be established in case the industries are shifted to some other area.

Talasani’s statement gains relevance in view of State Government’s decision to shift TB & Chest Hospital from Erragadda to Viqarabad.

The minister also claimed that he did not join the TRS to become a minister. He said he got some specific assurances for the development of Sanathnagar Assembly constituency before joining Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s cabinet. He also assured to resolve the problems being faced by businessmen of Ameerpet area due to the ongoing Metro Rail works. He said no push-cart vendor would lose his livelihood due to ongoing developmental works.
