Sonia, Rahul will visit Hyderabad next month: Shabbir Ali

Hyderabad, Feb 23 : The Telangana Congress leaders here on Sunday said they would organize victory meetings all over the region from Tuesday.

Speaking to media persons after returning from New Delhi, APCC Vice-President and MLC Mohammad Ali Shabbir said informed that the Congress party would organised victory and thanksgiving meetings in the entire region from Tuesday. He also said that AICC President Sonia Gandhi and Vice-President Rahul Gandhi would visit Hyderabad in the first week of March. They are likely to address a massive public meeting being planned at Parade Grounds.

Shabbir Ali condemned Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy for his efforts to stop Telangana formation. He described him as a blinking lamp and said nobody would support him in the Seemandhra region too.

Earlier, a grand reception was given to Shabbir Ali and Danam Nagender by the Congress activists at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad airport. They were taken in a procession to the Gun Park opposite Assembly building where they paid tributes to the martyrs of Telangana.  INN
