Republic Day Parade: CP seeks people’s cooperation

Hyderabad, Jan 24 : City Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma on Friday advised the general public not to carry any hand bags, briefcases, cameras, tiffin carriers or other containers while proceeding to the Parade Grounds for the Republic Day Parade no January 26th.

Anurag Sharma said that any person found carrying such items would be subjected to frisking and checking by the police. “The public are, therefore, requested to co-operate with the Police in this regard as this is a security requirement,” he said. The City Police has also imposed certain restrictions on movement of traffic and parking areas for the Republic Day Parade. INN
