College Attender commits suicide got frightened over the police arresting

Hyderabad, Jan 21 : A 23 year old College Attender commits suicide consumed Un Identified poison and ended his life on Tuesday due to frightened over the police arresting him.

According to the Pargi police, deceased C Ravi (23) S/o Chandraiah Vigyan college attender R/o Boyabanda of Pargi ranga reddy district, Ravi along with friends Raju, Srinivas and others playing cards ten days ago on Jan 10 and in the fight which ensured during the game on Srinivas was killed.

Ravi got frightened over the police arresting him and consumed poison on Jan 11 at his residence. Immediately he was rushed to OGH for treatment where he was died on Tuesday Jan 21. Pargi police said.

Refusal to buy birthday cake drives 12-year-girl to suicide

Hyderabad, Jan 21 : Refusal by parents to buy a cake for her birthday drove a 12-year-old girl to commit suicide.

The shocking incident happened in Site II of Borabanda on Tuesday morning. According to SR Nagar police, the deceased, Iffat Begum, celebrated her 12th birthday on Monday. She got upset when her parents ignored her demand to buy a cake on her birthday. Although she did not react on Monday night, she resorted to the extreme step at her residence on Tuesday morning by hanging using a rope.

On information given by Iffat’s father Rasheed police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Gandhi Hospital mortuary for autopsy.

GHMC contract driver killed in road accident

Hyderabad, Jan 21 : GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has informed that E Srinivas, an outsourcing employee (driver) has met with an accident around 9.20 AM on Tuesday in front of Jawahar Nagar dumping yard when he was about to enter his vehicle, which was parked in front of the dumping yard after having a nature call. Suddenly a speeding lorry from the other side has run over and the deceased has lost his legs, was taken for hospital in the ambulance placed at the dumping yard and died on the way to the hospital, he said.

The Commissioner visited Gandhi Hospital and consoled the family members of the deceased and expressed his sorrow about the unfortunate incident. The deceased, aged about 40 years, was a resident of Ibrahimpatnam and had wife and a daughter.

L Vandan Kumar, Additional Commissioner (H&S) and senior officials from Health and Sanitation wing have visited the site at Jawahar Nagar dumping yard and later on they have visited the Gandhi Hospital and consoled the family members. GHMEU President U Gopal along with several union leaders and employees of GHMC have also visited the Gandhi Hospital and consoled the family members of the deceased.

Assests worth about Rs 2.5 Crores unearth related to town planning supervisor Circle-III Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Jan 21 : On credible information a case of Disproportionate Assets was registered against a Town Planning Supervisor, Circle-III, L.B. Nagar, Hyderabad and searches were conducted today simultaneously at the residential buildings situated at Hyderabad, and his relatives and close associates located at Hyderabad and Warangal.

Movable and Immovable Properties worth about Rs. 2,51,67,236/- (approximately) were unearthed and Bank lockers are yet to be opened.

The Accused Officer is being arrested and will be produced before A.C.B .Court, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation

Junior Assistant circle 1 Hindupur Anantapur in ACB Net

Anantapur, Jan 21 : One Junior Assistant, Assistant Labour Office, Circle-I, Hindupur, Anantapur District, was caught red-handed by A.C.B. Officials on Jan 21 at 16-05 hrs. When he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs. 3000 (Rupees Three Thousand Only), for delivery of cheque for an amount of Rs. 30,000 sanctioned to the complainant’s grand-mother, pertaining to normal death benefit received from Government due to her son’s death.

Bribe amount of Rs. 3,000 was recovered from him. He is being arrested and will be produced before the Hon’ble IInd Additional Special Judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Kurnool. Case is under investigation.

Sub Inspector of police Aagiripally P S in acb net

Krishna, Jan 21 : The Sub-Inspector of Police, Aagiripalli P.S., Krishna District was caught red-handed by the ACB officials on 20-01-2014 at 06.25 p.m. at Aagiripalli Police Station, Krishna district when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs.10,000/- from the complainant for doing an official favour of not to book any case against the complainant and others for organizing and participating in cock-fighting at Kalaturu village during the recent Sankranthi festival.

The accused officer was arrested and being produced before the Hon’ble ACB Court, Vijayawada. Case is under investigation.

50 year old Scavenger murdered accused arrested by S R Nagar police

Hyderabad, Jan 21 : A 50 year old Scavenger of Sulabh Complex murdered accused arrested by Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police.
According to Additional DCP West Zone K R Nagaraju, On Jan 16, Mr Ajay Kumar Rao reported that he has been working as Sanitation Manager in Sulabh Complex Balkampet for the last six months. One women B Pentamma (50) working as a Scavenger at the said Sulabh Complex and she stays in the staff room of said sulabh complex.

On Jan 15 19 30 hours he left the work place by handing over the Sulabh complex keys to said Pentamma, later on Jan 16, 07 00 hours when he came to resume his routine work , he found the dead body of Pentamma in the staff room of sulabh complex and also notice that two silver anklets and her cell phone was missing. Further he suspected that some unknown culprits might have killed her while she was sleeping in her room at sulabh complex during the intervening night of Jan 15/16 and stolen away her belongings.

S R Nagar police registered a case of murder under section 448, 302, 380 IPC and took up investigation. During the course of investigation police apprehended the accused Nallola Shivaiah @ Allaram Shivaiah (40) a Laborer R/o Hindu Grave Yard Opposite Sulabh Complex BJR Nagar Balkampet N/o Dakur Village of Medak district at Hindu Grave Yard, BJR Nagar Balkampet who killed an aged lady B Pentamma during the intervening night Jan 15/16 and recovered Silver Anklets weighing about 40 Tolas and One cell Phone.
