CM will resign next month: Pithani

Eluru, Jan 13 : State Minister Pithani Satyanarayana on Monday gave clear indications that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would resign from his post next month.

Speaking to media persons at Chinchinada of Yalamanchili mandal of West Godavari district after inaugurating developmental programmes, the minister said that the Chief Minister might resign in the month of February. He also said that he several ministers, including himself, would resign along with the Chief Minister. However, he did not specify what would be their next step after giving resignations.

Pithani said that the Congress High Command took a decision in favour of Telangana only after all other parties gave their consent for the same. However, he said the other parties backtracked on their stand following protests in Seemandhra region and shifted the blame entire on the Congress party. He reiterated that the Congress leaders from Seemandhra region were in favour of united Andhra Pradesh and would never change their stand. INN
