SCR to provide 14,000 Additional Berths in 10 Exp Trains

Hyderabad, Jan 1 : The South Central Railway will temporarily augment the 10 Express Trains with additional Coaches to clear the extra rush / waitlisted passengers.

According to the SCR, the Train No. 17018 Secunderabad – Rajkot Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach from 4th January to 1st February; Train No. 17017 Rajkot – Secunderabad Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach from 6th January to 3rd February; Train No. 17002 Secunderabad – Sainagar Shirdi Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January (Fridays); Train No. 17001 Sainagar Shirdi – Secunderabad Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach on 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th January and 1st February (Saturdays); Train No. 12770 Secunderabad – Tirupati Sevenhills Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 3rd, 7th, 10th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 28thand 31st January (Tuesdays and Fridays) and the Train No. 12769 Tirupati – Secunderabad Sevenhills Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th , 27th & 31st January and 3rd February (Mondays and Fridays).

Similarly, the Train No. 12761 Tirupati – Karimnagar Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th & 29th January and 1st February (Wednesdays and Saturdays); Train No. 12762 Karimnagar – Tirupati Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 5th, 9th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th & 30th January and 2nd February (Thursdays and Sundays); Train No. 17064 Secunderabad – Manmad Ajanta Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 1st to 31st January and the Train No. 17063 Manmad – Secunderabad Ajanta Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 2nd January to 1st February.

These extra Coaches will make available 13,300 additional berths to clear extra rush and wait listed passengers. INN
