Etala accuses Seemandhra MLAs of setting wrong precedent

Hyderabad, Dec 18 : TRS floor leader Etala Rajender has accused the Seemandhra MLAs of setting a wrong precedent by stalling the proceedings of State Legislative Assembly to avoid debate on Telangana Bill.

Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Etala said that the Seemandhra MLAs should allow discussions and express their views and concerns over State’s bifurcation on the floor of the House. However, instead of debate, the MLAs were taking the entire House to ransom. He reminded that all the parties have assured of their cooperation for discussion on Telangana Bill during the meeting of Business Advisory Committee (BAC). However, he said that the Seemandhra MLAs of TDP, Congress and YSRCP were not allowing the House to function.

Etala said that the Seemandhra MLAs should think about the people of their region instead of following the directions of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy or TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and were setting a wrong precedent in the history of Legislative Assembly. INN
