Seemandhra leaders condemned for T-agitation

Hyderabad, Aug 6 : Congress MLCs K Yadav Reddy and KR Amos on Tuesday condemned the Seemandhra leaders for encouraging agitation in their regions over the Telangana issue.

Talking to reporters here, the Congress MLCs advised Seemandhra leaders to accept the fact that Telangana State would be a reality in the next six months. Therefore, they said that the leaders should focus their attention on resolving the problems being faced by the people in Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. They said special economic packages should be sought from the Centre for the backward areas of Seemandhra region.

Referring to Sharmila’s alleged comments comparing Hyderabad with Pakistan, the Congress MLCs demanded that the statement clearly shows that Sharmila was politically immature. They demanded that Sharmila should apologise with people for making such a controversial statement. INN
