Erasu warns Centre against damaging Seema’s identity

Hyderabad, July 30 : Law Minister Erasu Pratap Reddy on Tuesday warned the Centre against any move that could damage the identity of Rayalaseema region.

Talking to reporters after holding an-hour long meeting with other ministers from Seemandhra region including TG Venkatesh and Ganta Srinivasa Rao at the Congress Legislature Party office, Erasu said that the Rayalaseema would be the worst affect region due to the division of State. He said that the leaders of Rayalaseema were insisting for formation of Greater Rayalaseema State. However, they were convinced to support the united Andhra Pradesh movement. As a result, he said that the worst affected region would be Rayalaseema while both Telangana and Andhra regions would reap the benefits of division, if any.

Erasu said that the leaders from Rayalaseema region would meet on Wednesday to decide the future course of action. INN
