Veerashiva Reddy quits as MLA for united AP

Hyderabad, July 25 : Kamalapuram Congress MLA Veerashiva Reddy on Thursday has announced his resignation from the MLA’s post in support of the demand to keep Andhra Pradesh united.

Talking to reporters after sending his resignation to Speaker Nadendla Manohar and PCC President Botsa Satyanarayana, Veerashiva Reddy demanded other leaders too to follow the suit to stall division of State. He said that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu, YSRCP Honorary president Vijayamma and other leaders should also resign from their posts for the united Andhra Pradesh.

Stating that he was firm on his resignation, Veerashiva Reddy said he would stage a dharna at the Speaker’s chambers if his resignation was not accepted. INN
