Hyderabad, July 27 (INN): Bhongir MP Bura Narasaiah on Wednesday lashed out at the Opposition parties accusing them of hatching conspiracies to stall the project undertaken by the TS government.
Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Narsaiah said that the Opposition parties and also the AP government were making every effort to create obstacles for TS irrigation projects. He found fault with the Congress leaders as to why they did not bother about the famers when the previous governments took up Pulichintala and Polavaram projects. He said that the people of the state were watching the various tactics adopted by the Opposition parties to derive political mileage from the issue and said that the people will teach a befitting lesson. He said that the Mallannasagar project would solve irrigation issue in north Telangana district and would have long term benefits to the state.
Narsaiah took a dig at the AP government saying that it had acquired thousands of acres of land for constructing capital city and had that it had no right to interfere in the TS government’s interests. (INN)
