Hyderabad, March 7 (INN): TRS MP from Medak Kotha Prabhakar Reddy on Saturday assured the cab operators and drivers of providing all necessary assistance to resolve the problems being faced by them.
Speaking after inaugurating the headquarters of Telangana State Cabs and Bus Operators Association (TSCBOA) near Hitex on NAC Road here on Saturday evening, Prabhakar Reddy, who is also the Honorary Chairman of TSCBOA, said that an organised approach would be adopted to identify and resolve the problems being faced by the industry, which directly/indirectly employs nearly 5 lakh people. Stating that several issues related to taxation and permits need immediate attention of the State Government, he assured that he would invite Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy and senior officials of the Transport Department for the interactive sessions at TSCBOA’s new headquarters.
Prabhakar Rao assured that the TRS Government was committed towards the development of all sectors, including travel industry. He said extension of benefits and relaxations to the cab operators would give a major boost to the tourism in Telangana. He appealed to all the cab operators and drivers to support the TRS Government in turning the new State into “Bangaru Telangana”.
TSCBOA President Syed Nizamuddin thanked the members of the association for their cooperation in the construction of new headquarters near Hitex. He said that the TSCBOA building would soon become a new landmark in the Hitech City. He assured that the Association would make its headquarters a most happening place. Interactive and training sessions will be held for all operators, drivers and others at the new headquarters, he said.
TSCBOA office bearers Nabeel Hussain, Ashwin Jain, Aijaz Ahmed, T Venkatesh Goud, K Srinivas Rao and Venkata Subba Reddy also addressed the gathering.
