ORR Pedda Amberpet-Ghatkesar opened for traffic

Hyderabad, March 4 (INN): The 14-km stretch of Main Carriage Way of 8-Lanes of ORR from Pedda Amberpet to Ghatkesar has been opened to traffic from Wednesday.

Due to opening of this stretch, the traffic coming from Warangal and proceeding towards Vijayawada and vice versa can avoid the city traffic, thereby the congestion at L.B. Nagar Junction and Uppal Junction will be reduced. Apart from this, people who live in Ghatkesar area and plan to go to the airport can use this stretch of Outer Ring Road. This stretch of ORR, costing about Rs 300 Crores, was executed by M/s NCC Limited while the Supervision Consultants for this Project were M/s Nippon Koei – Aarvee Associates.
