Government & bureaucracy functions on electronic way and projects shall be cleared within 24 hours if need be,” said Information Technology and NRI Minister Dr Palle Raghunath Reddy while interacting with the Business delegation from Indianapolis, Indiana state, USA, which met him on Monday at his office.
Dr Raghunath Reddy also invited them to encourage investments from their State to Andhra Pradesh State.
Indianapolis, one of the popular and fast growing cities of USA, Indiana State, USA had signed Sister City Tie up with Hyderabad 5 years ago and has an ongoing relationship with Hyderabad and undivided Andhra Pradesh. A Business Delegation headed by Raju Chinatala is a visit to New Delhi and Hyderabad meeting several Government and Business Leaders.
Diego Morales, Director, Community Affairs, Office of the Governor of Indiana State has explained to Dr Raghunath Reddy about various friendly policies of their State and the available Business opportunities. He discussed with IT Minister about the possible Business opportunities to be exchanged by Indiana State and Andhra Pradesh. Jane Gehlhausen, Director, International & Cultural Affairs, Office of the Mayor of Indianapolis and also the Director of Board of Sister City International, Washington DC informed that Indian cities are lagging behind in forging Alliance with another International city and explained about the advantages of Sister City Tie Ups.
