AAP, TRS insulted women: Shankar Rao

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (INN): Former minister Dr P Shankar Rao on Monday accused Aam Admi Party (AAP) of insulting women by not giving them representation in the Delhi Cabinet.

Speaking to media persons in the Assembly premises here, Shankar Rao said AAP in Delhi and TRS in Telangana are the only governments who denied representation to women in State cabinets. He said the non-inclusion of women in cabinet was an insult for all women and it had sent a wrong message that women are not capable of becoming the ministers.

Shankar Rao claimed that only Congress party did justice with women and always gave adequate representation in both State and Central Governments while in power.
