Hyderabad, Feb 6 (INN): In order to make Godavari Pushkarams a reflection of Telugu culture and protect the cultural heritage, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed officials to make the program a celebration and a huge success.
The Chief Minister ordered officials to ensure that roads, sanitation, construction of ghats and restructuring of temples are done within the stipulated time. He added that the government is providing Rs1,000 crore towards organizing and completing works related to Pushkarams.
Naidu has directed officials to also repair all roads leading to Rajahmundry and also immediately revamp the Rajahmundry airport. He suggested officials to study the blueprint from the last Pushkarams and implement this as planned. He added that the last Pushakarams, which happened 12 years ago, was a huge success.
Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Siddha Raghava Rao, advisor (communications) to government Dr. Parakala Prabhakar, Chief Secretary I.Y.R. Krishna Rao, DGP J.V. Ramudu, principal secretaries Sam Bob, PV Ramesh, endownments officer Anuradha and other officials.
