Union Bank opens special counter at Haj House

Hyderabad, Feb 4 (INN): The Union Bank of India has opened a special counter at the Haj House in Nampally to facilitate the Haj Applicants to remit their Fee of Rs 300/- per head.

The Bank Manager informed that the Asif Nagar Branch has opened this counter in the Haj House in view of the heavy rush of the Haj Applicants. He further said that the applicants were forced to wait in long queues in the banks to remit the prescribed amount. He said that the counter would remain open till the last date of submission of the Haj Application Forms.

The Haj Applicants may remit the amount in other branches of the Union Bank of India throughout the State, as the Haj Committee of India has decided to accept the remittances through Union Bank of India from this year onwards.
