Hyderabad, Feb 4 (INN): Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will visit New Delhi on a four-day tour from February 4.
According to Special Representative of Telangana in New Delhi S Venugopal Chary, during his visit the Chief Minister is likely to meet 10 Union Ministers in the national capital to make representations related to their departments. He will also attend the meeting of Niti Ayog, to be chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on February 8.
Besides requesting the Centre to expedite the release of funds meant for the State, KCR will urge upon the Centre to provide additional 500 MW of power on immediate basis and allocate sufficient coal for the power projects of Telangana. It may be mentioned that KCR had written a letter to the Prime Minister on Tuesday seeking allotment of power and coal for the Telangana State.
