Hyderabad, Feb 4 (INN): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari requested the Centre to expedite the clearances of budget allocations pertaining to Sarva Siksha Abhiyan and other schemes from the Ministry of Human Resources Development.
During his meeting with Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreyya at Dilkusha Guest House here on Wednesday, Kadiam said that the Centre should release all the funds under various schemes for the Telangana State. He said he would be visiting New Delhi at the earliest to make specific requests to the ministers concerned.
Discussion also took place regarding Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking allocation of power and coal to the State of Telangana. Dattatraya assured the Deputy CM that he would meet Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal at the earliest and initiate steps for maximum allocation to the state.
Dattatreyya requested Kadiam to issue instructions to the state authorities to assist in all aspects regarding to the three villages adopted by him as per the instruction of the Prime Minister under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana – Sannur village in Rayaparthy mandal and Annaram Sheriff Village in Parvathagiri mandal of Warangal district and also Kolanpak in Nalgonda district. He also stated that the three villages have importance as Sannur Village has famous Temple, Annaram Sheriff Village has famous Darga and Kolanpak village has famous Jain Temple. He also stated that tourism is inter-related to development where large number of pilgrims will be arriving to these villages.
Dattatreyya requested the Deputy CM to instruct the State and district authorities in developing these Villages in providing basic infrastructure, Roads & Building, Water Resources and Education as he hails from the Warangal District for which he assured all the assistance.
