Hyderabad, July 25 : Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali on Friday warned the South Central Railway of stern action if it fails to prevent train accidents in the Telangana State.
Speaking to media persons after visiting the injured students at Yashoda Hospital here, Mahmood Ali said that the SCR should feel accountable in ensuring people’s safety. However, by just shifting the blame on someone else, the Raiways could not skip its responsibility of protecting people’s lives. He said that the Telangana Government would not tolerate such incidents in future.
Mahmood Ali informed that three ministers – Nayani Narasimha Reddy, T Harish Rao and Padma Rao were coordinating with all the departments and others concerned on Medak tragic mishap. INN
