Vijayawada, May 30 : Andhra Pradesh BJP President and Visakhapatnam MP-elect Kambhampati Haribabu demanded that the major metro cities of Andhra Pradesh should have better connectivity.
Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Hari Babu said that there should be a metro rail linking Vijayawada, Guntur and Tenali cities. Further, he said that the road and rail connectivity between other cities and towns in Seemandhra region need to be strengthened. He also stressed on the early completion of Polavaram Project. He said that the project could not gain momentum for the last eight years due to various reasons. However, he said that the project should be completed at the earliest as it would benefit both residuary State of Andhra Pradesha and Telangana.
Hari Babu also claimed that the Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party were supporting the BJP with the sole intention of taking the country on the path of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. INN
