Hyderabad, May 29 : Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee Special Officer Prof SA Shukoor has informed that the SHC was making efforts for the all-round training of the Haj pilgrims of the state and Field Trainers have been appointed in all the districts.
Addressing the Training Programme of the Field Trainers here on Thursday he asked them to train the Haj pilgrims not only about the Haj rituals, but for the rules and regulations of the Customs, Immigration and other aspects of the journey. He said that the Haj Pilgrims should be taught that they should not carry weight more than the specified limits as every item of necessity is available in Saudi Arabia. Likewise, in the return journey the Hajis should refrain from bringing more luggage and contraband items.
Prof Shukoor said that this year 5300 Haj pilgrims from the State are leaving on sacred journey and the Haj Committee is making fool proof arrangements
