Hyderabad, May 28 : As many as 18 students have been booked for malpractices during the intermediate supplementary examinations held across Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
While 12 students were booked during the conduct of Maths-I A, Botany-I and Civics-I exams in the morning session, six students were booked during Maths-IIA, Botany-II and Civics-II exams in the afternoon session. Of 420073 registered candidates, 25702 or 6.1% abstained from the Ist year exam while 10,602 or 9.8% of 107330 candidates did not appear for the IInd year exams on Wednesday.
The Board of Intermediate Education has sent Observers to Ranga Reddy, Nalgonda and Mahaboobnagar, the BIE said in a press release. INN
