Mayor reviews development works in Old City

Hyderabad, May 27 : GHMC Mayor Mohammad Majid Hussain on Tuesday reviewed the development works in the South Zone of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The Mayor directed the officials to complete the road widening works on priority basis. He also asked officials to take up beautification of Miralam Tank and complete them before the Metropolis Summit. He also reviewed the project works relating to Express way from Aramgarh to Owaisi Hospital junction.

Other issues that were discussed during the review meeting include beautification of approach roads to Charminar with greenery, removal of grill Central Merridian from Bahadurpura as it should be similar to Meridian at Charminar to Pattergatti leaving heritage look. The Mayor instructed the officials to prepare plans to construct a structure at Charminar with ground floor toilets and first floor with photo gallery. The proposal of Hanging bridge at Salarjung bridge for night bazaar was also discussed.  INN
