Accountant General to serve both states from Appointed Day

Hyderabad, May 27 : Consequent upon the re-organization of the state of Andhra Pradesh in terms of Andhra Pradesh Re-organization Act, 2014 and creation of a new state of Telangana with effect from the appointed date of 2nd June, 2014, the existing Offices of Principal Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh & Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh will serve both the successor states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The office will re-designated as Offices of Principal Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit)- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Accountant General (Economic & Revenue Sector Audit), Andhra Pradesh and Telangana respectively with effect from the appointed date, informed Anitha Balakrishna, Senior Deputy Accountant General (Admn) here on Tuesday.  INN
