Hyderabad, May 24 : Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu may take the oath as the Chief Minister of residuary State of Andhra Pradesh on June 9.
According to sources, Naidu is planning to conduct the oath taking ceremony either in Tirupati and Guntur on June 9. Earlier in the day, Naidu has stated that he plans to take oath at auspicious occasion immediately after June 2. However, sources say that Naidu is planning to invite Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister-in-waiting, for the oath taking ceremony and therefore, delaying the oath taking ceremony by about one week after the Appointed Day on June 2.
Naidu may induct one minister from each of the 13 districts of Seemandhra region in the first phase and expand his cabinet after one month.
Earlier on Saturday, Naidu called on Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan to discuss various issues. He was accompanied with senior IAS officer IYR Krishna Rao, who is tipped to be the next Chief Secretary for Andhra Pradesh State. INN
