BJP slams TRS-MIM alliance

Hyderabad, May 21 : Telangana BJP Minority Morcha president Syed Haneef Ali strongly condemened the likely alliance between the Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen.

Speaking to media persons at the State BJP Office at Nampally here, Haneef Ali said that the TRS have insulted the martyrs of Telangana by initiating the talks of alliance with the MIM which openly opposed the Telangana formation. He said TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao should have sent his MLAs to the residences of Telangana martyrs instead of sending them to the house of MIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi. He said that the likely alliance between the TRS and MIM was not in the interest of Telangana region.

Haneef Ali said that the TRS should have avoided proximity with the MIM as it had sufficient numbers to form the government on its own in Telangana. However, by aligning with the MIM, the TRS is trying to promote an unhealthy politics in the new State.  INN
