Telangana will be most preferred investment destination: Etela

Hyderabad, May 20 : Telangana Rashtra Samithi leader Etela Rajender on Tuesday said that efforts would be made to turn Telangana into the most preferred investment destination in the country.

Speaking to INN at Telangana Bhavan here, Etela said that the TRS Government would come out with a new investment policy wherein investors would be offered attractive packages to start their projects in Telangana State. He said besides urban areas and their peripheries, the investors would be encouraged to launch projects in rural areas too. He hoped that Telangana would emerge as the most preferred investment destination in the country in the next few months.

Etela said that the TRS Government would take measures to ensure welfare of families of martyrs who laid down their lives for the cause of statehood. It would also implement the promise of waiving loans for the farmers and steps would be taken to ensure that they do not suffer due to climatic or market conditions. Proper supply of drinking water and power will be another area where the TRS Government would focus its energies.

The TRS leader said that measure would be taken to undo the injustices done to the people during the previous regimes. The welfare of minorities, protection and restoration of Wakf properties and providing employment to minorities’ youth will be prioritised, he said.  INN
