Chandrababu cancels T-TDP MLAs felicitation

Hyderabad, May 19 : Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday forced the cancellation of a function meant to felicitate the leaders who got elected to Telagnana Assembly.

Originally, TDP MLAs L Ramana and Errabelli Dayakar Rao planned to organise a felicitation for the party’s MLAs in the region. They also meet Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday to get his nod for the event. However, Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly received complaints from a few leaders who objected to the felicitation of winners. They said it would send a wrong message among those who lost the elections. Therefore, Naidu directed Ramana and Dayakar Rao to cancel the function and left for Tirupati on Monday.
