Governor approves four month budget for AP, Telangana

Hyderabad, May 18 : Governor ESL Narasimhan has approved the authorisation of expenditure fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states for a period of four months from June 2.

The decision was taken in a high-level meeting with senior officials on State bifurcation held at Sudharma Block of Rajbhavan here on Sunday.

Of Rs. 34,595 crore approved for Andhra Pradesh, Rs. 28,626 crore is the Revenue budget while Rs 3,882 crore is the Capital budget. Similarly, of Rs.26, 516 crore approved for Telangana State, Rs 21,295 crore is the Revenue budget and Rs 3,046 crore is the Capital budget.  INN
