TITA welcomes verdict on IT Employee ‘Abhaya’ rape case

Hyderabad, May 14 : The Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) on Wednesday welcomed the punishment awarded to the convicts Satish, Venkateshwarlu in the Hyderabad IT employee ‘Abhaya’ rape case by Ranga Reddy district first track District Additional Judge under section 363, 342 and 376 (D) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The TITA appreciated the police for completing the investigation within seven months. “Punishment must be exemplary so that message goes strongly that women needs to be respected.
