GHMC too bans bursting of crackers on counting day

Hyderabad, May 14 : GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar has informed the bursting of fire crackers / throwing of fireworks on public roads at public place has been strictly prohibited in connection with counting of votes of General Elections of Lok Sabha and Andhra Pradesh Assembly Constituencies on May 16.

Stating that the prohibitory orders were aimed at maintaining public order, peace and tranquility in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, he said that those violating the orders would be liable for prosecution.  INN
