Unseasonal rains: Naidu demands ex-gratia for victims

Hyderabad, May 11 : TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday demanded that the State Government pay an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the families of those killed in unseasonal rains in the last three days.

In a letter to Governor ESL Narasimhan, Naidu said that the unseasonal rains and hailstorms have caused immense damaged to agricultural and horticultural crops across the State. He requested the Governor to direct the officials to prepare a detailed assessment of damages and extent relief to the victims. He also demanded that a Central team should visit the affected areas.  INN
