Hyderabad, May 10 : Former whip A Anil Kumar on Saturday offered to quit politics if TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao wins elections from Gajwel Assembly segment by over 50,000 majority.
Speaking to media persons here, Anil Kumar ridiculed KCR’s claim of winning the Gajwel seat by a margin of 50,000 votes. He said he would take political sanyas if KCR is proved right. Else, he said KCR should quit politics. He said KCR was habitual of making tall claims and he never stands by his own words.
Anil Kumar sought to know the reason behind KCR turning a critic of AICC President Sonia Gandhi. He said KCR had praised Sonia Gandhi after the passing of Telangana Bill in Parliament and even visited her along with all family members. He said KCR should explain the reasons that led him to change his stand. He said that KCR had played no role in the formation of Telangana.
He claimed that the Congress party would form the government on its own. If it falls of some numbers, then the Congress might seek the support of MIM and CPI, he said. INN
