RGI Airport Custom Officials seize Half Kg of Gold Buiscuits from a passenger

Hyderabad, May 10 : The RGI Airport Custom Officials at Shamshabad Airport has Half Kg of Gold Buiscuits from a passenger. The total value of the gold is Rupees 15 lakhs.

According to Officials Saturday intercepted a passenger by name Zeenat Begum was arrived to RGIA, Shamshabad from Dubai by Flight no EK 526.

On questioning by the officers, about possession of any dutiable /prohibited goods, the passenger denied and replied in negative. However, after detailed examination, the officers recovered Half Kg of Gold Buiscuits from the passenger under Burqa. The passenger was interrogated and Further follow-up investigation is going on.

Habitual offender arrested, gold ornaments seize

Hyderabad, May 10 : One Habitual offender who is maid servant by name Thondapu Varalakshmi @ Sridevi @ Satyaveni @ Satyavathi (49) W/o Thondapu Veera Venkata Sathi Reddy N/o, Market Street of Bikkavolu Mandal, Voolapalli, East Godavari Dist committed theft of valuable Diamonds & Gold ornaments all worth Rs. 15,00,000.

On May 5, 2014 at 1330 hrs received an English written complaint from Anil Gaggar (47) R/o MLA & MP’s Colony, Road No. 10-C, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad, submitting that on April 23, 2014 his wife Anju was engaged one lady by name Satyavathi or Satyaveni as maid servant for doing day to day work and to stay with them. On April 24, 2014 his wife had kept a purchase on the table containing a pouch in this Gold ornaments, A. Bangles, B. Necklace, C. Ear Tops, and a Chain with Gods pendent at about 1 PM on April 24, 2014 she removed the pouch from the purse containing ornaments total weighing 12 Tulas of gold and stones and left without notice on April 27, 2014 at about 8 AM. He requested to take action against her and restore the gold ornaments as soon as possible. On receipt of the complaint registered a case and took up investigation by DSI K. Ramesh.

During the course of investigation and continued efforts by the CRIME STAFF and Detective Sub Inspector K. Ramesh under the leader ship of Inspector of Police A. Sreedhar Kumar on the tip of information they said accused woman was apprehended on May 10, 2014 and recovered the stolen Diamonds & gold ornaments 1). Ruby & Diamonds bangles -4 wg 60.850 Grams 2). Diamond Necklace wg. 44.400 gms, 3). Emerald & Diamonds chain wg 60.200 grams, 4). Pure pearls mala with Diamond locket wg. 60.00 grms, – Total Wg. 225.45 grams worth Rs. 15 lakhs. The accused woman was arrested in (10) property offences cases on May 16, 2012 and remanded to judicial custody, the cases are still Pending Trail.

In this connection the above accused woman Thondapu Varalakshmi @ Sridevi @ Satyaveni @ Satyavathi was being produced before the Hon’ble XVII ACMM Nampally on May 10, 2014 for judicial custody on the supervision of the Ramesh Reddy Asst Commissioner of Police, Banjara Hills Division, Hyderabad and Sri D.V. Pradeep Kumar Reddy SHO Jubilee Hills PS. Additional DCP West Zone, Hyderabad Nagaraj Said.

Unidentified man found murdered

Hyderabad, May 10 : The Kanchanbagh police have found the decomposed body of an unidentified man who was brutally murdered by unknown persons.

According to Kanchanbagh police, 20-25 years old man decomposed body was found open land near Gurram Lake on Friday night hours. Police said unknown persons murdered by strangulated him and wrapped dead body in a Blanket and thrown in open land. Locality people informed to police, immediately police rushed to the spot.

Kanchanbagh police shifted the dead body to OGH Mortuary for post-mortem and identification and began investigation after registering a case of Murder under section 302, 201 IPC. Inspector K Ramesh said.

Intermediate student commits suicide

Hyderabad, May 10 : A-19 year old Intermediate student commits suicide by set ablaze himself at his residence on Friday.

According to Medchal police, deceased P Shivlal (19) an intermediate student S/o Mahender R/o Weaker Section Colony of Medchal committed suicide by pouring kerosene himself and set ablaze on Friday at his residence due to failure in intermediate second year examinations, immediately rushed to Gandhi Hospital for treatment, where undergoing treatment he died on Saturday morning hours.

Medchal police registered a case and dead body shifted to Gandhi Hospital Mortuary for postmortem after autopsy deceased body handed over to his parents.
