PPZ to manage over 1 million sq.ft of retail space in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 2 : In the dynamic retail scenario that India is going through at the moment, Pioneer Property Zone (PPZ), has further strengthened their presence in the Southern India by acquiring 5 more projects to their existing portfolio of 13 assets nationwide.

The 4 assets which will be developed under the supervision and guidance of PPZ include Secunderabad Central mall and Odean mall both by Shanta Sriram Constructions, Youdan Plaza by Youdan Infrastructure Projects Pvt. Ltd and Kompally Mall. Manjeera Mall at Kukatpally which is already operational is also now being managed by PPZ.

Located at Kukatpally – a major residential and commercial suburb in Hyderabad, Manjeera Mall is one of the most popular shopping hubs in the area. Spread across 4,70,000 sq. ft, this mall has 4 floors full of shopping options and a separate floor for entertainment and cinema. Owing to the high rise residences, educational institutes and ITparks nearby, the mall is frequented by a lot of youngsters and young corporate employees around the area. Manjeera Mall has a good mix of International as well as local brands, F&B chains and multiplexes catering to various age groups. The mall has been operational since October 2013.

Secunderabad Central mall and Odean mall are both planned to cater to different customer segments in Hyderabad. Spread across a cumulative 0.5 million sq. ft., these assets are based in the Patny Square region and the RTC Cross Junction in East Hyderabad respectively. Secunderabad Central Mall, located at the junction of Patny Circle in Hyderabad has around 3,50,000 sq.ft of GBA, will be built with 4 levels + Entertainment. This mall is catering to the affluent catchment of Secunderabad, where shopping has been traditionally done only in the high streets. This project hopes to change the shopping experience and range of offerings available to the catchment. Whereas, Odean Mall is located at the RTC Cross Junction in Hyderabad has over2,10,000 sq.ft of GBA. This project will be a mid-segment neighborhood centre with a mix of Junior Departmental Anchors, Fashion Anchors and F&B. Odean Mall will also house a Cinema which will cater to the movie crazy catchment. The centre should be open to public by the last quarter of 2017.
